Some of the country's essential services have grinded to a halt as President Donald Trump and Senate Republicans hold fast to their demand for a wall along the US Southern Border. Meanwhile, Democrats are not relenting, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer refusing to grant the President's request for a wall.
So what about the workers in the middle? What will be the backlash? Will there be a long term impact? We walk through the flames of this discussion with Cary Conglianese, a law and political science professor at the University of Pennsylvania, Larry Ceisler, a political strategist and Gary Morton, President of AFGE Council 239, representing 8,000 employees of the Environmental Protection Agency.
